Over The Hump

HumpDay at last. At least I got a decent sleep, as I dropped off almost as soon as I got into bed after my swim and pretty much slept right through until 5, so almost a full 8 hours for me. Unheard of! I certainly felt a lot better when I got up compared to yesterday!!

I really wasn't sure what I wanted to eat though, and started off pondering sausage, egg, chips and beans. However, we had no Quorn sausages and so I adapted slightly with burgers once more....

They are so lush though! For a change I had proper Cheddar in the burgers rather than burger slices, and rather lovely it was too :) Dessert was pretty standard, fruit and yogurt.

As I'd got up reasonably early (for me) I did get a bit of time with Hague with was rather lovely, although it's always so hard to drag myself off the sofa to get ready when we're all cosy! I managed it though and headed to work, for once in not a bad mood due to actually being awake lol!

Work started off well, the first half of the shift was a dream - machines behaving, lots of bits and bobs to do to keep myself amused, plans looking kind for a Friday night off work and generally not too shabby. Then we had a changeover and everything changed. Horrendous. The second half of the shift was awful, constant problems, not great for a good mood. In between the non-stop rushing around I managed to eat this little lot...

Lunch was more Ainsley Moroccan cous cous with extra veggies thrown in, the rest is pretty much standard fare. Just for a change I couldn't wait to get home and decided to dismisss the grumps with a run. I normally have MapMyRun set to tell me each kilometre, but for some reason it had changed to miles again and so I had no real clue as to how far I was running until I'd done over 2½ miles and started to struggle a bit, so I carried on for a couple more songs before finishing up with a walk. So over 5km run in 34 minutes, really pleased with that as it's the fastest I've ever run it. A pretty good way to get over a poo shift I say.

Of course, it was then time for a soak before heading to bed at long last.

I didn't even manage to eat all the grapes, a victory for not just eating mindlessly because they're there!
