Tame Tuesday?

The socks have decreed that Tuesday shall be tame. Apparently.

I think that's slightly unfair on poor old Tuesday, although it didn't start too well as I spent a lot of the day awake, which is never a great thing. I also didn't see a great deal of Hague, which is definitely not a good thing. As he was working until 5.30 I had to head to weigh in on my lonesome, and so I decided that I'd walk to group and get some Body Magic under my belt. I'm now in week 7 of my Gold award, so hopefully that will be mine in a couple of weeks. This week first though, and I was mighty pleased to step on the scales and see a loss of 4½lbs. That's over two weeks, so still that lovely average of a couple of lbs a week, very happy with that - and it also meant that I have "earned" my 10st award once more. Another milestone was reached as well though. The scales declared that I now weigh 15st 1lb. This is the weight I reached way back when I last lost a lot of weight on SW, which I think was around 9 years ago, so it's the lowest weight I've been as an adult. Difference is that this time I am not going to stop going to group, not at all. This time I'm going to reach my target, and keep attending group so I stay there :o) Just over 3 stone to go!!! O.O

Group was rather quiet, and so I was hope by 7.20 despite walking, and the wonderful Hague had put some rice in the rice cooker before he left to go to get his head kicked in again and so all I had to do was cook some veggies and heat up my SmartPrice curry to have dinner ready.

Of course it was then time to head to work *sigh* Nothing overly exciting to report, except for a couple of comments about how much weight I'd lost - guess Hague was right about my old work clothes being circus tents! Food wise, work looked like this -

I finally picked up the new HiFi bars, christmas pudding flavour. They're one HeB each, but they really are gorgeous, not too sweet, but a lovely Christmassy flavour, I'll have to stock up before they disappear! Dinner was the last of the carrot, lentil and coriander soup with a cheese roll and I tried the cola Nakd raisins for my last break. Very nice they were too!

I had pondered having a swim or going for a run when I got in from work, but the snots have well and truly arrived and so I made myself a lovely hot chocolate with a Galaxy bubbles pouch kindly shared with me in group with my whole HeA of milk. Delicious, and that settled me down nicely as I nodded off almost straight away :o)

It's a strange feeling to have reached one of my milestones, my lowest adult weight (well the lowest weight I can remember being, I must have been 15st 1lb at some point on the way up...) I'm genuinely feeling like I'm really getting close now. I'm hoping to get into the 14st's next week, which will mean I have less than 3st left to go. That sounds so weird, for someone who started off with over 13 to lose, the thought of being that close is odd, really odd. Like it can't be possible, not really, despite all the evidence blatantly showing that I AM getting close now. I'm sure my head will catch up at some point!

These non-scale victories are coming thick and fast now, target dress will soon be fitting, which means I will need another one :o)
