Not Much To Report....

After two days of late shifts, my first ones in 3 months, I have decided that I don't like them very much at all. I have managed to do barely anything before or after work, and it seems that all I do is work, eat and sleep. Not fun.

Monday for example, I woke up at 10ish, and then decided I was tired so went  back to sleep until 11, Hague told me I still looked tired so I went back to sleep whilst he sorted me out some breakfast.

Cheese, courgette and mushrooms omelette with chips, lovely start to the day, although it did have to be eaten at lightning speed so I could get ready for work. Food wise, I'm all prepared for the whole week after batch baking lots of soup at the weekend, so at least I don't have to worry about that! Work was the same old thing, with the added bonus of being kept company all shift by Hague and TOK. Perhaps there is one good thing about this shift :o)

Food was nothing out of the ordinary...

My last Xmas Pudding HiFi :o( But the first of many portions of minestrone soup :o) Work was mainly uninteresting, and it was rather nice to get out a tad early, as that meant getting home a bit earlier to the loveliness that is Hague. I wasn't sure what I wanted for dinner, and so I went for weetabix. I'd not had them for ages and figured as I had a HeB and HeA left it would be perfect for a lighter supper.

There are bananas and blueberries on top of the weetabix, as well as a tablespoon of honey. I did save a smidge of milk for a cuppa too, which I had whilst I munched my way through all the grapes. Whoops. I had only planned to have a handful! With dinner eaten it was time to get a nice hot bath, with a hot chocolate, and then head to bed for a nice early night as I was planning on going swimming...

I woke up bright and early when my alarm went off at 9, and went back to sleep when I put it on went off again and I gave up the idea of swimming and went back to sleep for another hour. Of course by that time on this stupid shift I just about had time to eat and shower before I had to head out. I did manage 15 minutes of Body Magic in the shape of the airwalker though. I can't possible throw away all my hard work now! Hague was once again on form with making me a truly lovely breakfast, his mushrooms are awesome!

There are two slices of bread hiding under the tomatoes as well, I thoroughly enjoyed it! After eating and showering I had to head to work, managing a very swift flying visit through the work shop to pick up the stock pots we seem to get through like nobodies business in this house! Once again work contained nothing exciting to report I'm afraid, although I spent a lot of time whinging about not doing any exercise to TOK and Hague. Hmmm shouldn't really whinge about not being able to exercise when that is mainly down to me not getting my bum out of bed in time!

I have asked Hague very nicely if he'd accompany me out on a run though, so hopefully I can at least get out tomorrow night to escape from Zombies for half an hour or so! tasted like this...

Lunch obviously wasn't soup, it was some leftover rice with a tin of the Asda SmartPrice vegetable curry. A great standby for just 1 syn. The rest is much of a muchness, although I am hoping that the rumour flying around Facebook about Aldi discontinuing the Benefit bars isn't true, as I adore them, as you may have noticed...Anyway - work was done at a reasonable speed and soon I was back home, and food was pretty much ready for me, once again courtesy of a Hague (he's off for a couple of days, I'm not just being all mean and stuff). He had roasted me off a butternut squash, and I put some tomatoes in as well whilst I cooked some macaroni cheese, spring onion and spinach in the microwave. Which created this beauty :o)

Quick, but so tasty. I had stirred a tbsp of mustard through the macaroni cheese which really helps the flavour. I had planned on having something light though, think I might have failed there though...especially as I then had dessert.

Today shall be finished off with yet another hot chocolate whilst I head to bed with everything crossed that I get a loss tomorrow after Sam's hen night on Saturday. Why do I still get so damn nervous before weigh in? It's mad isn't it? Surely I'm not the only one that has this weird combination of excitement and nerves before finding out how this week measures up, as it were? It's the start of the Countdown to Christmas from Slimming World this week as well, so time to think of my Christmas wish - I got last years, which was my 5 stone award, and I'm hoping that I'll get this year's too. I want my 11 stone award before Christmas. I have 12 ½lbs to lose, and 10 weeks to do it in. Do-able indeed!

Anyway, enough waffling, I need to get myself to bed as I DO need to be up early tomorrow to actually make it to weigh in!
