As Monday was a day of a 12 hour night shift, I am leaving the naming of this blog to my socks :o)
Yes, I am now the proud owner of Day Of The Week socks :o) Well, I had to spend £4.99 to get my New Look order delivered for free, or spend £3.95 on delivery, so socks it was. They make me smile.
Anyway, not much makes me smile on a 12 hour night shift, so every little helps. Especially when you wake up rather snotty and feeling rather sorry for yourself. As Hague wasn't at work, he swooped to my aid and sorted out my food, I say food as I never know what to call the meal that I eat at around 4pm, that is my first meal of the day that doesn't resemble breakfast....It was a jacket spud anyway.
Followed by sideways grapes...after I'd eaten I had to prise myself off the sofa and into a shower before heading to work.
I really didn't want to be there, anywhere else would have been better. I get like this quite a lot when Hague is at home, I'd rather be snuggling with him than watching machines do their thing that's for sure. Monday night was worse though, I was bored out of my head and was just thinking of a million other things I'd rather be doing, although scarily most of those things were running or swimming! Luckily the work part was interspersed with many breaks, during most of which I ate something...
Much as I'd planned to do some exercise after work, it became obvious after not very long that there was no way that was going to happen. I was suffering from the cold (hence the lemon and ginger tea on my last break) and by the time I was free all I wanted to do was get myself home and into bed. My day finished off rather nicely with a very sleep Hague pulling me in for a lovely snuggle as I got into bed, best way to nod off ever :o)

A very long, and very tiring day. Thank goodness that's my last 12 of this shift rotation (at the moment) and so its just the usual 8hr night shifts for the rest of the week! According to my socks, Tuesday shall be Tame, so perhaps it will be a quiet one tonight? Worryingly I'm tired already!
