Once again my attempts to sleep last night were thwarted, I have no idea what by, but I was still awake when Hague got up to go downstairs as he couldn't settle at 4am, and woke up again at 5.30am and then couldn't get back to sleep. As I laid there, getting more and more frustrated at my lack of sleep I could feel myself leaning towards getting myself out early to do my Couch to 5K again. So once again I was pounding the promenade at stupid o'clock and getting my second run of week 4 under my belt, it was a lot warmer today than it has been for a week or so, and my legs were still a bit weary from all the walking on Saturday, so I found it a bit hard, but I kept on going and completed the run. I even went a bit further this time, almost 3 miles in total. It does feel good once it's done ;)
I had something to eat before getting myself into my usual bath though, as I was a lot more hungry than usual - however, the cupboards are pretty much bare and so I had the last of the fruit in the house, along with a yogurt.
With that run, a milestone was passed, as I may have mentioned a few times over the last week, my Silver Body Magic award was looming, well it's looming no more, as I have achieved it. A hugely proud moment for this reformed couch potato that's for sure. Roll on tomorrow and a real certificate, but for now, I have screen shots :)
So it was a very happy Karen that got herself a nice soak in the bath before heading back to bed, where I chatted away to Hague whilst he got himself ready for work and then nodded off quite quickly once he'd left just before 11am. I did set an alarm for 1pm, thinking that was plenty of sleep, but obviously my body had other ideas as I slept straight through the alarm and didn't stir until my man was back indoors at just after 2pm. I really am buggering up my body clock royally this week (for a change). With Hague home, I got up and we sorted ourselves out some lunch before finally going out and getting some shopping.
Another No Food In The House Special there, a pasta n sauce, with the last of our cherry tomatoes thrown in and topped with my HeA of Feta. We really needed to go shopping! Luckily, most people seemed to be under the impression that the shops closed at 4pm on the Bank Holiday and so we breezed through Aldi and would have done the same in Asda if it wasn't for the lure of running clothes...yes, you read that right....running clothes....we would have been out a lot quicker. In the end I did treat myself to a new running top and sports bra, but I'm not entirely sure about the tight running leggings just yet....maybe in a month or so?
Anyway, soon we were home, the shopping was away and we could relax, which meant our minds turned to dinner. I fancied something simple and TOK helped me decide between a Big Mac in a bowl or egg and chips.
Exactly what I fancied, it went down an absolute treat, especially as Asda finally had the Quorn sausages again. I like the LM ones, but sometimes you just want something sausage flavoured :) Of course, with cupboards and fridge heaving with SW foods, dessert was fruit.
Although with a distinct lack of vegetarian coconut yogurts in Asda this week, I shall have to get used to no coconutty lushness atop my Mango, how very terrible :(
A lovely, lazy evening ensued, our last together until Thursday, as Hague is heading oop North to see his boys, with much telly watching and cat snuggles - which aren't a weird twee snuggly thing we do, I just had Jadey glued to my side most of the night. As I had Healthy Extras of both the A and B variety left a milky coffee and much purple food finished up my food for the day.
Hopefully I won't have a Violet Beauregarde moment!
Activia 0% yogurt
wholegrain pasta n sauce (creamy tomato and basil)
A - 250ml semi skimmed milk
A - 45g Feta
B - 2 slices wholemeal bread (400g loaf)
B - 4 Bear yoyo's
tbsp ketchup 1
3 Quorn sausages 3
Activia creamy yogurt 2½
Danio yogurt 3
Total syns 9½
Seemingly, today's blog is also brought to you by much yogurt :) Tomorrow brings with it saying goodbye to Hague and my weigh in, which I haven't thought about much this week to be honest, I have no weight award looming, and so am quite relaxed about it, although if I shift 2½lbs I will be down to 15½ stone. Not too shabby!
I'll just be excited to be getting my hands on my Silver Body Magic award, and then.....onto Gold? Can't hurt to try, it's only another hour of exercise a week after all. Jeez I've changed O.O
