Work and Work and Wage Splurges

It's rather frustrating how work gets in the way of my blogging! It also gets in the way of seeing Hague which really annoys me.

At least Wednesday was a normal eight hour shift, although and so I had time to conjure up some noms before work. I even managed to get a reasonable amount of sleep for a change! So once I was up into the kitchen I headed to whizz up some mac and cheese. I keep buying the ingredients for it, and keep not making it, and so it wasn't really surprising that we had no natural yogurt to put instead in went 50g of soft cheese.

That little lot is in fact one portion of the recipe. It really is so good, and the soft cheese seemed to do the job just fine :) Whilst the mac and cheese was in the oven I got all my other work bits sorted too and so I got to spend a little bit of time just relaxing with Hague, although of course that always leads to me really, really, really not wanting to go into to pay those bills somehow though and so off I went. Whilst driving into work I had the radio on and Edgar Wright was on Radio 1 doing a playlist. I quite like listening to the playlist, it's where a celeb will take over for an hour and play songs they like, or that are important to them or whatever. As I'm desperate to see his latest film (World's End - the final film of the blood and ice cream trilogy) I rather enjoyed listening, although it made the green-eyed monster awaken as I knew TOK would be watching all three of the films on Thursday!

Anyway, into work, and into this....

Seriously, it's too f*cking hot in work at the moment, and when you're constantly told budgetary constraints stop them being able to do anything it gets rather frustrating. And sweaty. Still, they pay my bills (almost) so best not moan about them too vigorously eh? I'm still training on the filler though, and as such my poor little brain is getting rather tired from having to think a lot more than is normal, so I shall just share with you my evening's noms.

Plus I had a peach and an Alpen Light for my last break, but my poor little phone had been forgotten as it was charging and so you'll just have to trust me :) At 5.45 am I was out of the door and heading home. Such a relief to crawl into bed!

And so onto Thursday, and another 12 hour shift, the last of the week thank goodness! As Hague was working I woke up to an empty house, and many text messages. One of which was from my Dad finally confirming that I'll be getting my new car soon! Yay!! I'm SO excited :) So my gorgeous little Fiat will be arrived a week on Monday. Best get some insurance sorted!

I fancied something quick and easy to eat and so went with egg and chips. One of my favourites.

Today with added Quorn sausages and veggies, plus a milky coffee as for some reason my work foodage didn't include any cheese. I know. Startling! Perhaps I'm coming down with something. With dinner eaten and a rather unfruitful phone call to British Gas cut short, I headed to work. There really is something so depressing about having to head to work in glorious sunshine, I just hope it lasts through the weekend!

As it was a 12, I spent the first half of the shift in the warmest part of the factory, I do hope this melting effect shows on the scales this week! As always there is nothing too exciting to report, apart from my updates from TOK who was ensconced in the cinema enjoying the whole of the Blood and Ice Cream trilogy back to back. I was SO jealous! I also spent part of the evening trying to persuade Hague that we needed to do the same, albeit a slightly budget version with DVD's instead of all 3 films on the big screen :) However, our monthly spends were all used up on the purchase of Must Have t-shirts....

Damn you Qwertee!

So our miniscule pile of spends for this month disappeared in one purchase, it may have only been a spend of £15, but unfortunately that's life for the MitchyHague's! I was also informed in no uncertain terms that we will NOT be wearing the t-shirts at the same time. Spoilsport ;)

With the excitement of being paid over and done with, the rest of the work was business as usual, with the added brain power usage of  training continuing. Which I am rather enjoying I must admit, it makes a pleasant change to do something a bit different.

Bit of a mix up at work last night, chilli for my first meal break, but then a bit of mish mash for my second meal, including my emergency Mug Shot :) Can you tell we need to go shopping?

The world then seemed to conspire to keep me awake, despite my lovely trainer letting me escape ten minutes early. First I was checked as I left the factory, then I had to stop for milk so I could have a hot chocolate when I got in. I arrived home feeling rather achey and decided to have myself a bath along with my hot chocolate, it was supposed to be a quick one, but I was in there an hour!

I quite enjoyed having a lot of milk today though, and by just after 7.30am I was snuggled up in bed!

So far this week, it's seemed like a really odd one food wise. I seem to be having weird amounts of syns, and different foods. Hopefully this turns out to be a good thing, but it's certainly not anything that I've planned. I am feeling very tired though and really looking forward to the weekend, although with our spends for the month totalling £5 each I'm sure that it won't be anything to outlandish, although I'm trying to persuade Mr "Maybe" that a picnic on the beach might be a good idea!

Roll on 4 weeks time....   ;)
