Pride and Pee-d-Offed-Ness

After planning to get myself to bed after a nice relaxing bath, things went a bit awry. Firstly I started watching Secret Eaters in the bath, and then I enjoyed it so much I wanted to watch another episode. Before I knew it it was 3am once more and I still wasn't asleep! Damn.

So of course I didn't get up at 10am, and didn't do any exercise, and once more got up, got fed and went to work.

Quite a large breakfast really, but I had woken up really hungry! All on plan though, and not a syn to be seen.

Work was, well, work. Nothing exciting to report really - similar foods to keep me going. The closer it got to 5.30 though, the grumpier I got.

At around 6ish, I was getting texts from Hague about how lovely Tom was, and how inspiring he was. Gutted just isn't the word - I then got this lovely picture of Hague and Tom. Two wonderfully inspirational men! To cap off my annoyance at missing group, Hague lost 7½lbs, so got his 4½ stone award, as well as winning Slimmer of the Week and Slimmer of the Month. Talk about the worse week to possibly miss my group! I love being there to support my man, and even he was a bit upset that I wasn't there. Damn you bills and your need to be paid :(

With the excitment over and done with, and losses duly reported via text and FB, I could settle down for my lunch - just a pasta salad, with plenty of veggies hiding under the pasta!

As I was so hungry, I had nothing left for last break, so just had a nice cuppa, all thoughts definitely turning to getting home as I couldn't wait to see my Star Slimmer and hear all about Tom! I'd decided early on that I fancied cheeese on toast for tea, and that craving was still there so with two HeA's to have I indulged, and boy was it delicious! There was a tablespoon of caramlised onion chutney on each slice as well, for just a syn each.

I had a bowl of pineapple for my dessert too, the picure of which has mysteriously vanished, but trust me, it was pineapple, and it was in a bowl.....I'm sure you can picture it! With the internet being stupidly slow I didn't manage to get a blog done last night, but I did manage a rather jaw dropping before and after picture of Hague...

How's that for a transformation? Looking through old photos, neither of us could believe the size of Hague in his pictures - neither of us thought he was that big...goes to show eh? I am beyond proud of him. So with those photos done (but no blog), I decided on a cuppa and some Mikado before bed.

Seeing as it was edging close to 1am when we went up to bed, that really should have been it for the day. Instead, us being us, we decided to go through the box of too small clothes that we'd kept after the last sort out of our wardrobes. We had 3 boxes of clothes to slim into and after a frenzy of trying things on, that's now down to one box. So much as yesterday was a bit of a grumpy day, Hague's wonderful results and fitting back into several clothes (including some that I've never fit into) redeemed the day ever so slightly!

Today's blog coming later.....
