Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

So once again I've missed a blog. I have no excuse except for being tired and having a touch of the CBA's I'm afraid! Unfortunately Wednesday wasn't a hump day for me either, as I have to work on Saturday. I did actually feel a bit better than I had done on Tuesday, but work days are never happy ones for me! I shall swiftly move onto a very quick overview of my Wednesday before I move onto today :)

As you can see, my work noms were much of a muchness, I'm going to miss my rice pudding breakfasts that's for sure!

Work was also much of a muchness, so I'll gloss over it as it's a bit of a trial with trainee making mistakes, and today's was huge *sigh*

When we got home I didn't really know what I fancied, and so put on my creative hat and made myself meatball lasagna.

It doesn't look much but it tasted lovely, and contained tons and tons of superfree too, as I made a basic tomato sauce with tinned tomatoes, onion and garlic and then added mushrooms, mixed peppers, cherry tomatoes and spinach. I then threw in some quorn meatballs, layered up the mix with lasagna sheets, topped with the yogurt white sauce and my HeA of cheese and cooked it in the oven for about 25 minutes. It was utterly gorgeous!

So much so that I finished off the rest a bit later.

I needed something sweet to finish off my day, so used lots and lots of syns on lots and lots of Mikado :)

So there we go, Wednesday done, onto today. Very tired once again, and Hague had even less sleep than me. Earlies really do suck, it's nice to get a bit more time with him though, so picking him up and driving in with him is rather lovely. Even earlies can have a bright spot! I wasn't in too bad a mood this morning, but the stress of working with the trainee and worrying about the disciplinary meeting I have to attend - which is at 11.30 tomorrow - is starting to tell, and an annoying headache took root.

My food was pretty much of a muchness with the rest of the week I'm afraid...

I'm afraid that nothing exceptional happened today. My chat with my union rep made me feel slightly better about my meeting tomorrow, but I'm still worried, and my trainee has been told not to come back, which is a relief for me, but not nice for him - however unsuited he was to the job, it's not a nice thing to happen to anyone. After work on a Thursday we have a briefing, and luckily today it was a nice short one so I was in time to get Hague and head home. As I was hideously tired I crawled into bed and tried to have a bit of a nap, and whilst I didn't manage to actually sleep, I was nice and cosy, and didn't want to get back out, however, dinner was calling and so I got out of bed, and into my onesie, to whip up a very lazy girl dinner.

A tin of chickpea dahl, with added chopped tomatoes, mixed peppers, courgettes and spinach, plus some boiled rice. Very quick and easy :) Hague had something similar, but with chicken :)

The evening then went rapidly downhill as I went to start up my laptop and nothing. Not a sign of life. Wonderful, so now I'm typing my blog on my old laptop which is now close to falling to bits and has a cursor which zips around all over the place whilst I'm typing and is currently driving me insane, hence the abruptness of today's blog, along with the small photos - which it won't let me enbiggen. Grrrrr. I needed dessert, and Hague provided it in the shape of some lovely chopped pineapple.

I still need to get a HeA down me, so I'm going to treat myself to a toasted cheese sandwich before bed :)

I'm sorry for the abruptness of today's blog, it's getting late (for me) and I have a 12 hour shift tomorrow, plus this laptop is driving me utterly insane with it's random cursor jumping. I'm also feeling pretty upset about the laptop, although I'm sure it's just something loose inside.

On the plus side, I have decided that I will try and end each blog with something positive rather than whinging, and so I shall end with the thought I had earlier on today, of how close my 12 stone target seems now compared to when I started. Just over 6 stone away, it feels more do-able today that it has ever done :)

Another huge plus is that myself TOK and WLB are all getting excited about our girlie weekend, and I genuinely cannot wait to actually meet these two lovely ladies in the real world. Strange isn't it how you can get so close to people, consider them dear friends without ever having met. It's going to be a fabulous weekend!
