Okay, enough already with today's award, onto the food. I fancied treating myself after group, but not in a synful way, so I popped to Asda to pick up the makings of dinner. I wanted burgers, chips and coleslaw, and this being Slimming World, that's exactly what I had....for 2 syns :)
Doesn't that look delicious? It tasted absolutely gorgeous, so let me run down what's on my (overflowing) plate. Sweet potato chips, oven baked with frylight, some large mushrooms topped with my HeA of Laughing Cow light blue cheese triangles, roasted cherry tomatoes, two Quorn beef style burgers with sweet red onion and some homemade coleslaw (with coleslaw mix which was reduced to 10p, 2 tbsp of extra light mayonnaise, fat free yogurt, a squirt of lemon juice and some pepper). The mushrooms were supposed to be a sort of bun for the burgers, but there was a wee bit of a size issue, so I just had them on the side. Totally yummy dinner, and exactly what I fancied.
All too soon it was time to head to work though, where not one person mentioned my weight loss - honestly, working with men can be a nightmare sometimes! Although to be fair, I did get a lovely compliment from one of the guys at work yesterday, who told me I looked tons better and brighter, not just slimmer - how's that for something wonderful to hear? Anyway, no-one said owt tonight, so onto the food lol!
First break, as always, was just snack time, today's was an Alpen Light and a banana, with the obligatory bottle of water.
I had the pleasure of being last to have my break tonight, so my final break arrived very late on, and by the time I'd enjoyed my cuppa and my other Alpen Light bar I had less than an hour to go until it was time to go home!

So finally, today's Advent chocolate, I think it's quite clear what today's is, after yesterday's mystery chocolate (which I think was a lamb with a scarf on).
An angel, who is now all nommed up :) As it's getting rather close to 7am, and my hot chocolate is running very low, I reckon it's time to bid you farewell and take my 5 stone lighter bum upstairs to bed, but first, I just want to say something.....previously, I might have thrown in the towel after two weeks of gaining, especially this near to Christmas, I might have thought, oh well, my body is getting used to the diet, I'll have a bit of a break and come back in January....if I'd have done that, I wouldn't have had an 8lb loss this week, I wouldn't have got my 5 stone award this week, and I would have likely come back in January (IF I'd have come back) well on the way to decimating my weight loss. I hope that from now on, I can keep my journey in perspective, realise that annoying little gains are going to happen, maybe for a few weeks at a time, but if I stick to plan, I will get to target. I have the support of Hague, my family, a truly wonderful consultant, a fantastic weigh in group, several FB groups and everyone that reads this blog, and you have all helped me push through those silly gains to get this today. So, thank you, sincerely.
Oh how inspirational your post is. Congratulations on the 5st award
