This week is turning out to be quite off plan....with the night of drinking, and now today, which is the day of the monthly girlie lunch, I've probably had all my week's syns and then some in the space of a couple of days. However, that's not an excuse to throw away all my hard work, and I will be sticking totally on plan for the rest of the week - hoping that I've done enough to get that 1lb I want :)
So my first meal today was indeed lunch. We went to a new pub in Lowestoft today, and I arrived early armed with my email code for a free drink....couldn't waste that on a diet coke right?
I did try to have a light rose wine, but they didn't have any, so normal rose it was - 175ml worth! So 6 syns before I'd eaten anything....well this was my meal off :) The wine was swiftly followed by the rest of the meal.
All chosen with total disregard for the syns I'm afraid, but the deep fried Camembert, BBQ veggie burger and lemon tart were totally delicious. I polished off the lot I'm sorry to say, but it's only once a month that I have a 3 course blow out - forgive me??
The Fringe went down well too - with both my Mum and Sister complimenting me. Not bad going! After lunch it was back down to earth with the food shopping to be done, oh the joy of Tesco at 5pm. Still, we're now fully stocked up for another week on plan (well, for me to be on plan - we'll not mention Hague's food...)
For dinner, I fancied some pasta, and as I nearly made a lasagne the other day, I decided to make it today instead.
It was rather bloody lovely even if I say so myself :)
Cheesy Vegetable Lasagne
Veggies (I had courgette, mushrooms, broccoli and spinach)
LowLow cheese spread
fat free yogurt
reduced fat cheddar cheese
I chopped the veggies and then fried them off in some frylight with garlic until they were soft. I took the pan off the heat and stirred in a tub of LowLow cheese and a good dollop of cottage cheese, as well as the oregano, pepper and nutmeg. I then layered it up with the lasagne sheets. For the white sauce topping I whisked an egg and then mixed in about half a large tub of fat free yogurt with a little bit of nutmeg and pepper and spread that on top of the lasagne, once it was topped with 45g of reduced fat cheddar I put it in the oven at 180 degrees for 35 minutes. Delish :) It contains 3 He's, and I only ate half, so will have to syn it if I don't have the other half tonight! I guess you could always double up the cheese on top to 90g, then it would be 2 He's for each half, and you'd have some leftover for another day!
For dessert I had some chopped pineapple, I'm rather enjoying the pineapple at the moment, and picked up another 2 at Tesco today, so be prepared for lots of pictures of pineapple chunks over the next week ;) I know it's a Friday night, but seeing as we're heading to Barnsley on Sunday with an early start, and then on Monday it's a 6am start - so I don't think I'll be staying up too much later, I'll add in some syns for a hot chocolate though!

I'm still keeping up with Press Play as well, I made a nice effort today for lunch with a nice outfit and make up, and I'm pondering what to do for my scary thing - can I count having The Fringe do you think? Talking of The Fringe, I'm going to have to bite the bullet and wash my hair tomorrow....I think I'll need crossed fingers and lots of luck for the styling bit afterwards as I'm not one for a hairstyle, previously my hair has been very much brush, tie up and go! Hmmm perhaps that's my scary thing, washing and styling The Fringe :)
