Tuesday Again?

I can't believe it's Tuesday again! They seem to come around so quickly! I was rather pleased to see today though as it meant Hague was returning from Barnsley, where by all accounts a good time was had by all :)

I had my last starfish night in bed, this time without any type of animal and despite being up by half 12, by the time I'd had a chat with Hague, a check of FB and a long soak in the bath it was practically time to go and pick him up at the station - so breakfast (and lunch) sort of got lost along the way!

So despite going to weigh in on an empty stomach, my loss was 1lb. Which I'm more than happy with. I'm not one of those who sees it as "only" a lb, any loss is good as far as I'm concerned, and after getting back to eating normally, I was more than pleased to see it gone :)

Obviously I was VERY hungry when I got home, and so rustled up a huge bowl of pasta with tomato sauce, quorn meatballs and two HeA's of cheddar.

Now, as you can see, this bowl is not quite full, and you can't see any cheese. This is due to being too hungry to remember to take a photo! So sorry about that lol! After the pasta had gone down I treated myself to another free discovery.

Very yummy, and I seem to have polished off the whole pot...oops! I think I might have to throw a tub in the ice cream maker and see what happens, I think it'll make a gorgeous ice cream! Watch this space!

Just before bed, I'll be partaking of a Highlights caramel hot chocolate and a couple of Alpen Lights bars (can you tell we've been shopping?). That should round the day off nicely! I'll eat more tomorrow I promise!

It's funny how quickly losing weight becomes a habit. Whilst shopping today we picked up a couple of cases of Carling Zest, and I told Hague I was in the mood for a treat. However, just by going to group, weighing in and discovering just 2.5lbs stand between me and my 4 stone award was enough to convince me to stay on plan. It's a good feeling!
