Almost Worth It?

I'm definitely doing quite well with this rest thing. I went to bed at 10pm last night, and apart from a couple of awake hours between 9am and 11am, I slept right through until 3 this afternoon. Seems like the Doctor was right!

As I didn't wake up until so late, I didn't really have time for a huge amount of food before heading to my Slimming World group tonight, but I did make sure I ate.

Just a couple of Benefit bars (HeB) and a cuppa, but it sorted me out before I jumped into a bath and then got ready to weigh in. My first weigh in for 3 weeks...

I think we can safely say that it went well! Obviously being rather ill agrees with me as I'd lost 15lbs since I'd last weighed in, an insane amount of weight! I'm not sure feeling so utterly awful was worth it, but it was certainly a nice surprise when I got on the scales, and I'm only 3.5lbs from a 4 stone loss now - although in reality I'm not expecting that for a while, after all my body needs to adjust back to eating again, and I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't actually lose anything next week. So my total loss in the 16 weeks I've been on Slimming World is now 3 stone 10.5lbs, not too shabby eh?

As always, when I got in from group, Hague had dinner waiting for me, a lovely plate of gorgeous comfort food. Perfect.

The LowLow should have been mixed in with the broccoli and cauliflower, but never mind :) Just one HeA for the LowLow and the rest is syn free, and incredibly filling, good job I weigh in before dinner lol!

A little bit of dessert a while later and that's me done for the day. Not sure how late I'll be up though - I'm already tired! (Don't worry, I won't be eating all the grapes!)

  1. Bloody good going, amazing progress and really inspiring. I could do with shifting 7 - 14lbs but can't seem to shift a pound. It's probably down to the Guinness though :)
Just realised you are very nearly 1/3rd of the way there already. Have you tried the chilli Low Low? I buy it for the boys

  2. If we had more money, I'm sure alcohol would slip me up more often lol!
I know! I'm over a quarter of the way now that's for sure, and I WILL get there :)

I've not tried the chilli one yet, only the plain and black pepper ones, will have to try the chilli one out as well xx
