50

Today marks my 50th blog post. In less than two months my SW ramblings have gone from zero to over 8000 views, and every single view has helped me stay on track, and keep me motivated. In a strange coincidence, after weigh in this week my BMI dropped under 50 (yes, it was over 50) as well, getting it under 25 may be a bit harder, but I'll get there. The determination is still strong in this one!

I've not been my normal self today. After the awful sleep of yesterday we both slept in for hours today, but rather than waking up refreshed, I felt tired and groggy. Despite that, we had things to do - Bayleigh and Flumpy were overdue for a flea treatment, and with JadeyCat joining us on Monday it seemed sensible to get that done, and so out we went. Then Bayleigh got her walk, no ulterior motives from me honest guv...

On the way Bayleigh was spotted at Sara's TeaRooms and was made Dog of the Day :) She also got a huge fussing by just about every member of staff. One, very happy doggy!

It was only when I got home that I realised I hadn't actually eaten something and was bloody starving, it had to be very quick, and very filling - did you know Quorn burgers could be cooked in the microwave? Me either, cue a 2 minute brunch!


Quorn burgers in the microwave, pitta bread in the toaster, and then I just mixed the coleslaw mix from Asda with lots of fat free yogurt and 2tbsp of extra light mayo and 30g of cheddar. Then I stuffed the lot into the pitta and topped with cherry toms. Lunch doesn't come quicker than that does it? It was actually really filling, and I didn't eat the yogurts until about an hour later!

I didn't really know what to have for dinner, and whilst pondering I decided on a nice vegetable risotto. However, I started chopping the veggies (onion, celery, courgette, cabbage and pepper) and merrily lobbed them into the pan ready to be cooked before being risotto-ed. It was only when I started cooking them that I realised I'd done WAY too much veg, and so decided the best route for such a huge pile of superfree food was to simply stir fry it. So in went a few sprays of the frylight for the wok, some soy sauce, lemon juice and some of my chinese grinder and dinner was ready!


I don't mind a stir fry, it's a great way to get plenty of super free food in you, and is super quick, however, I know they don't fill me up very well. So a banana, some grapes, and a couple of my graze munchies came to the resuce, along with 250ml of milk as my HeA :)

Tomorrow is the day of the monthly ladies lunch - and we are going to my favourite restaurant, and so it will most definitely be a flexi lunch. However, it IS an Italian restaurant, so the food shouldn't be hideously synful, at least that's what I'll be telling myself! As always though, I'll be flexing lunch, but having a nice syn free dinner!
